Jon Russell, BS, R.Ph. graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in Philadelphia, Pa. now known as the University of the Sciences of Philadelphia (USP) in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. He has been licensed by the State of Pennsylvania since 1993.
Jon has over 15 years of retail pharmacy experience and has also spent 1 year as an auditor for Pennsylvania Medical Assistance Program.[more]
Jon performs Diabetic Counseling to patients and educates them in regards to providing guidelines for healthy eating, benefits of exercise, tips for good foot care, etc. Jon also supplies free glucose meters to patients and teaches proper techniques for the testing of blood glucose.
He performs diabetic shoe fitting for patients which is then billed to Medicare or their supplemental insurance.
Jon has also completed vaccine training and provides vaccination services to patients.
His professional organizations include: Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association, Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA),
